Ignition key stuck

hello
I got a problem: I can't start my car because my key goes just half way! I just can start a battery but I my key stops going further! any suggestions?

Get some lubricant and spray in the key hole and work it in and out

I just can start a battery-What are you trying to say here.

If you cannot make that key to go all the way in-it means a new ignition switch/key.

Try reshaping the key could be binding because its bent out of shape.
