After fixing the transmission and trying to reattach to the engine, I get it all lined up and in but when i start tightening the bell housing bolts it wont move the last inch and starts pushing the ring gear back into the engine. I have tried about 6 times to realign the shaft. Do you think it is because the shaft isnt lining up rotation wise or the shaft isnt pushing into the spigot bearing? Any help please

Hi there,

This sounds as if the torque converter is not located fully into the transmission, check this out first.
