Hello,

I have a toyota corolla 94 115000 miles I drove the on a steep hill with 3 people including driver. The speed was not enough so I pressed hard on the accelerator to climb. Since that, I hear a vibration when I start the car in morning. When reversing the vibration is louder( when accelerationg) I dont hear anything in drive mode. The vibrations dissapperas after 45 minutes of driving. Can this be my torque converter or differential( becauses toyotas use to have differential problems.)

Differential problems are cause by a lack of lubrucation, since the differential has its own supply seperate from trans.

Toyota does this to protect the transmission.

I would take to garage and have differential fluid changed and axle seals inspected. I say garage, because the differential fill plug is hard to get to unless you raise car 5-6 feet in air.

If differential fluid is full and seals are intact, then I would suspect the convertor, pump, govenor etc.
