Approx. 1 week after my battery was disconnected (found out the starter was bad and not the battery)
my windshield wipers wouldn't work. They were working before the battery was disconnected. What could the problem be? I was told to check the ground. I have a 1993 Toyota Corolla. Also, how do I check the wiper motor to see if that's the problem before I spend the money on a new one.

More than likely a fuse is blown, check them first. You can check the motor by removing the connector and connect motor connections directly to the battery (just for a second) using homade jumper wires.
