1993 Toyota Corolla Screeching

Hi,

I have a japanese import car. When i turn the steering wheel fully to the left or to the right, it sceeches loudly until i move the steering wheel back. The screeching is higher pitched when i start the car for the first time that day or in colder weather.

Check the belt tension on the power steering, any leaks from the PS unit or hoses, and fluid level in the PS resivour.
