My car is using an excessive amount of oil and there are no visible leaks on the ground. I put a quart of oil in and drove about twenty miles and the engine was dry again. My oil light didn't even come on. Help, what is wrong. My car is running well.

Hi there,

With that amount of oil consumption you must be driving around in a blue smoke cloud. It is either going out the exhaust or on the ground, and if it is not leaking then you have a serious problem. I would be getting the comps tested for ring failure first.
