I bought the car used this past week and this is its only major problem. We have checked bulbs and fuses and those are good. There are two wires that go to the the high beam plug. The voltage is 12v on one and aprox 7v on the other. Is this correct? Where do we begin to start looking for the problem?

Hi jenatrout,

Were the voltage reading taken with high beam light switch turned on and bulb socket disconnected? What reading do you have when turned off?
