Brakes problem
1993 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

The car will dirve fine for a while, then it will just seem to lock up, smell and get hot. On Monday both breaks got tight. After it sat for a few days, I checked it and it spun fine. I drove it again today (Saturday), it was fine for two trips, but then on the third trip, just the front passenger brake froze up and started to smell and get hot. I was not applying the breaks when it actually happened.
Can it be the master cylinder? Or would that cause both breaks to lock up at the same time?

Check the caliper slide pins on both sides, also check the rotors for warping.
