I did not realize that the water pump in my 1993 Toyota Corolla had failed until the engine overheated to the point of blowing the head gasket. Are there repair options other than a new or rebuilt engine? I really can't afford to put that much money into a 17 year old car but I need the car to run a little longer before I can consider buying a new one. Thank you.
