1993 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Automatic 160000 miles

How do you remove the tail light assembly? The 2 outside screws and the inside nut are a snap. However, there are 2 retention devices that come in from the side that I cannot get to release. How do you get the lightassembly out in order to replace the brake lights?

Hi MerrillMac,

If you want to replace the brake bulbs, not necessary to remove the whole light assy.

The light come as an assy and you need to pry it off after removing the screws. The assy is stuck on.
