WHERE IS THE THERMOSTAT LOCATED ON MY ENGINE

The thermostat is installed on the inlet side of the water pump.

Make sure the replacement thermostat has a small air vent in the housing, This vent should be installed at 11:00.

If you cannot find a replacement with this vent, get one from Toyota.
