My 92 Corolla, while having 339,000 miles on it, has always run like a champ. The last 2 days though, it won't shift into it's last gear, and has some trouble shifting into other gears. It has an automatic trans, and it also seems to bog way down when I first take off. Almost like it's stuck in a higher gear. Any suggestions or Ideas? Any would help. Thanks

First check the linkage to trans, next check the TV cable, make sure it is adjusted properly.

Check fluid level.

It is also possible the TCC (torque convertor clutch) is stuck.

A binding TV cable or the TCC clutch ar most likely cause.
