1992 Toyota Corolla oil pan gaskets

i bought oil pan gaskets and i got 2 the same in the pack the car had none on it when i took pan off why is there 2 wont that make it leak plz help

Hello The technical manual shows that it is more like RTV Sealant than a gasket. I have attached the OEM specs.

Apply seal packing to the oil pan as shown in the illustration. Seal packing: Part No.08826-00080 or equivalent "¢ Install a nozzle that has been cut to a 3 - 5 mm (0.12-0.20 in.) opening. HINT: Avoid applying an excess amount to the surface. "¢ Parts must be assembled within 1 5 minutes of application. Otherwise, the seal packing will be of no effect. "¢ Immediately remove nozzle from tube and reinstall cap. Make a small donation!
