You need a new CV axle shaft to the side where the sound is coming from. Front left or right side

Pretty easy job first time working on my corolla and I had to replace both axle right was easy left needed a slide hammer to get it off. But after I replaced mine heard weird noises so be carefull. Still havnt figure out what the other noises were coming from. And also if you have the money check the bearings I also did those while doing the 2 axles. Both axles like about 45$ each. Bearins were like 49.99 each side takes about 4 to 6 hours to fix if its first time.

Check under the car for two trans. Drain plugs, if there are two then one is differential, and when you change axles, you need to add fluid to differential.

The auto has a differential, and if you do not refill, it will eventually sieze the diff.
