Hey guys one of my wind screen wipers has suddnely stoped working i had a look at the bolt at the base of the arm but the bolt seemed to be tight. Its on one of the front wipers which has stoped and i am not sure where to look for the problem. Could you please give me your ideas on what it is and how i could go about fixing it.
Cheers

The wiper arm base could be stripped, or the wiper mechanisim (under the cowl) could have broken.

Remove the wiper arm and observe the "teeth" inside the wiper are to see if they are stripped, if not, then turn on wipers and watch the connection to see if it turns, if not then the mechanism will have to be replaced. They are available from Toyota and will run a little over $200.

You will have to remove the plastic cowl and wiper motor for access.
