I have a leak coming out of the front of my engine. When the car starts, (which is to say that it starts but runs very rough) Oil spews out from just below the intake manifold. Like right out of the block. Is there a seal there or do I have other problems?

Nothing I can think of under the intake. It may be a valve cover gasket.

Remove intake and inspect block, it could be cracked, or valve cover is cracked.

This oil pump on the Toyota puts out A LOT of pressure. It is possible the oil pressure relief valve on the oil pump is stuck, creating EXCESSIVE pressure.

Other possibility is head gasket, broken head bolt.
