MY CAR MAKES A WIERD SOUND ONCE IT HITS 35 TO 45 MILES AN HOUR LIKE A HUMMING SOUND OR THAT OF AN AIRPLANE THEN ONCE IT HITS AROUND FIFTY MILES AN HOUR IT GOES AWAY. DO YOU THINK IT IS MY TRANSMISSION BUT THAT SEEMS TO BE WORKING WELL. ALSO DO YOU THING IF IT WAS A WHEEL BEARING IT WOULD MAKE A GRINDING SOUND NO MATTER HOW FAST ITS GOING I THIS WIERD SOUNDS IS MORE OR LESS COMING FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE? HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP WITH THIS OR HAS AN IDEA WHAT MY PROBLEM MIGHT BE. THANK YOU SO MUCH

Check the fluid level in the transmission and differential. The differential is often overlooked because it has a seperate lubricant supply from the trans. If the differential is empty or very low, it will eventually sieze.

Also jack up the front wheels and check for lateral or vertical play, indicating problems with the ball joints, tie rods, bearings or bushings.
