1990 Toyota Corolla Key won't turn

1990 TOYOTA COROLLA
325,000 MILES • 4 CYL • FWD • AUTOMATIC

I put the key into the ignition switch and have to jiggle it around to get it to turn and allow the car to start. What part needs replaced? Is it labor intensive? Thank you so much for your time and attention.

The key cylinder is worn. A locksmith might be able to salvage it but if the wear is too bad, then you need to replace it.

Replacement should take abut half an hour. Repair maybe an hour.
