1990 Toyota Corolla idle

i just recently replaced distributor o-ring everything is lined up as should be but after when i startedmy car my idle was at 2000 rpm it dropped to 1800 and wanders between 1800-1500. my air intake has a crack in the pipe between the box and manifold which i have patched up and am waiting 6 weeks for a new air intake.
there is no codes for it

You would need to set the timing first. Usually a high idle indicates a vacuum leak, which must be fixed.
