my car died at a stop sign. when trying to start it, it acts like its starving for fuel. Is it the fuel filter or the pump. How do you change the fuel filter?

What you need to do is check the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge designed for your fuel system to rule out the fuel filter and fuel pump
