1990 Toyota Corolla Brakes

1990 Toyota Corolla Front Wheel Drive Manual

The driver side caliper won't engage the rotor. When brake is engaged the piston comes out slightly then goes back in. Replaced the caliper, does the same thing. Master cylinder? Thanks for any help.

Bleed that caliper to make sure there is no air. Check the hose and line for restrictions, otherwise it could be the MC.
