1990 Toyota Corolla 3rd and 4th don't stay in gear

when I shift into 3rd and 4th it pops out of gear. What can cause that?

Worn out sink rows can cause that to happen.
Unfortunately the only way to fix this is to remove the transmission and repair its internals.
