Hello, Bob and Ken. I was wondering if you would be kind enough to help me with this problem I'm having with my car. I have 189,000 miles on it and I bought it about a year ago. After about 1 month of driving I noticed that the temp. Gauge would rise to the very hot, and I would have to add coolant and water. After about another few days of driving, I noticed the car was surging at highway speeds. I let it sit after that for about a few months, and when I went to start it agiain to move it to the car port, it was leaking water and oil mix, coming from where the engine and transaxle join. Any help on this matter would be Greatly Appreiated. Thanks. Al. :D

You may have a bad thermostat gasket. Coolant can leak down on to the tranny housing, pick up old grease and oil then on down to the pavement. If the oil is new or red your rear eng. Gasket or tranny gasket maybe bad. Trg.
