When I put my vehicle in gear, mainly first gear, and begin to slowly start moving I hear a subtle click/tick noise. This also occurs in reverse, a little louder. My vehicle has had a new clutch kit installed and flywheel. The car drives fine, shifts fine, although if you do not downshift properly allowing the car to jerk, you hear that same click/tick noise. Its very subtle and unnoticeable if all windows are up. Maybe I'm just very picky. Also, after this click/tick noise occurs in 1st or reverse, it will not occur again in that same gear unless you put it back into neutral and in 1st or reverse again.

What could this be?

Much Thanks.

Did noise occur before clutch install, and who installed it?

Yes, This subtle noise has been going on for a while. Had a mechanic install it.
