Transmission problem
1989 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual
I am having difficulty in engaging gears. I must push the clutch right down to the floor to engage a gear.
Does this mean I need a new gear box?

Thanks for the info. The problem was with the master cylinder. A visit to the wreckers secured a replacement in VG condition. Took ages to remove original, now am attempting to detach the oil line without damaging the nut which secures the oil (fluid ) line to the cylinder. I believe it may be corroded.
