MY CAR WAS RUNNING ROUGH AT LOW RPMS. SUSPECTED VACUUM PROBLEM COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING. I CHANGED PLUGS, WIRES, CAP, AND ROTOR. CAR RUNS GREAT....BUT..I NOW HAVE LOUD KNOCKING NOISE. RECHECKED WIRING FOR CORRECT CONNECTIONS ETC. ALL GOOD COULD I HAVE INSTALLED A DEFECTIVE PLUG? CAN'T TELL ANY REAL DIFFERENCE WHEN I DISCONNECT PLUG WIRES ON ANY CYLINDER.

Remove plugs and check them for mechanical damage (pistons hitting plugs). You may have installed the wrong plug.
