I have a 2003 toyota celica gts, and the serpentine belt shredded while driving and so I wasnt able to see how it was routed, and im pretty sure I have it routed correctly(using common sense, and what I know about belts) but the belt seems to be about an inch or so too short, and im pretty sure its the right belt(duralast, multi-v belt part#740k6) and I borrowed a serpentine belt tool from my local auto parts center, so I know im getting the right amount of leverage and the tensioner pulley is being pulled as far as it can go.*So my question is. Is there somethig im not doing or is there a trick to it or something. And if possible, could I get a serpentine belt routing diagram from you. Or can you maybe tel me where to get a diagram(for free). Any help/advise would be most helpful and very much appreciated. Thank you for your time.
