I was just wondering what was involved with replacing the starter on my celica. I look at the thing and I don't know what exactly i have to remove to even start the process. Please help. I am somewhat mechanically inclined yet have not done this on this vehicle. Is there instructions in your manual for this type of stuff. Your online description doesn't touch trans..starter..alt..ect. Does it cover this type of stuff.
Thanks for taking and responding. Kenneth D. Bunton II

Disconnect neg cable. You will need to remove the entire air cleaner assembly, battery and cruise control actuator if equipped. Now that you can touch it, remove the wiring and 2 bolts and it is out. Reverse for install. Might not be a bad idea to take a digital pic before you begin if you are worried about remembering where things go
