2001 Toyota Celica leaking front pump seal

flex plate broke damaging front pump bushing. Replaced flex plate with new and junk yard tranny. front seal leaked with in 20 miles. pump bushing was coming out of pump and into the seal. Replaced tranny again started leaking fluid again front pump seal. Have not torn down yet but expect the bushing to be bad. Is this a problem with U341E trans. what should i look for. Have replaced several tranny's before and never runinto this situation.

Hi there,

You do not know the history of the replacement transmission, it may have been damaged already, these are normally very reliable transmissions, i think that you have just been very unlucky.
