1995 Toyota Celica Sticking Clutch

The clutch peddle keeps sticking down every now and then, I have to pull over and pull the peddle back up. it goes down then just stays there. My mate has sprayed the peddle spring with WD40 but its not done anything. Can you help???

Hi there,

You may have to remove the pedal and replace the pivot bush, you can check this by un clipping the master Cly rod and unbolt the master Cly and pull back a little so you can feel the pedal, if there is any binding you will have to do the bush, if ok, check the master cyl is working freely and that there are no leaks.
