I have a 1995 celica gt 2.2l valve seal broke and i got a new 5SFE head for it in order to avoid any trouble with the current cylinder head. So i got it installed, new head gasket, all connections are good but car just cranks and will not turn over. I have found the fuel pump does work but when i tested the spark the spark plugs do not fire. My father thinks it a grounding issue, the distributor, coil, rotor, plugs and wires have been tested good. We did find out that the injectors have power on both sides, which in my 97 celica st only one side has power. We are guessing that whatever is causing the injector connections to not be grounded is the problem. Or what else could it be? I need the car fixed asap and will try anything i can

Check the ignitor for no spark- for the injector having power on both wires is a no-no the black and orange wire has the power the other wire goes to the computer's ground driver.

Do this check power at the gray wire on the ignitor -do you have ?
