Air bag light came on without being involved in accident (air bag did not deploy), smelled a burning odor at the same time. Upon inspection, found that the Air bag module was emitting the burning smell. Went to wrecking yard and bought another and the light is still on. Are there any fuses, relays or circuit breakers that I don't know of that may be causing this problem or anything else that you can suggest?

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation.

The light is an indication that the ECU is holding a set fault code, you will have to get a scan done to make sure that the only code is a SRS fault. If so get the code erased and see if it re sets itself. If a new SRS code is set, you will have to advise on the code so I can advise further.
