1989 Toyota Celica oil in the exaust pipe

I just bought a used car, it is loosing oil, and there is oil in the exaust pipe. The engine sounds good and sound, no water in the oil either. can you tell me what the problem is that causes this

Hi there, it must be coming up through the rings, or a very bad set of exhaust guides and seals. If the head was cracked i would expect more problems than that.
