Want to modify a non turbo or supercharged engine into a turbo or a supercharged engine

You would be better of purchasing a purpose built engine, are you intending to do this work yourself, do you have the skills to do precision engine work? remember it is not just a matter of bolting on a turbo or a blower, nearly every moving component of the engine will have to be up graded to take the loads and stress you will inflict on the engine.

Look into the celica-supra. I agree, the standard celica engine really can't handle much boost unless you want to do a ton of work. You can also look into some turbo engine swaps or the all-trac / GT-four celica models which are turboharged.

If anything I would suggest a small supercharger over a turbo to reduce the chance of total engine failure.
