1999 Camry, 75000 miles: I bought this car when it had 60000 miles and since then have already spent a fortune over it to get the mufler, front struts etc. Replaced. This time when I took it for the inspection, mechanic told me that its the rear struts and front brakes which needs to be replaced, now. He was mentioning something like the brake pads have worned out very nonuniformly-does anyone know or had similar problems before? He quoted me $490 for the front brakes, and $538 for the rear struts (including parts and labor). Is this reasonable? I remember paying ~ $700 for the front struts.

Also he said that in near future I might have to get the fan belt changed that will cost another $114.

I live in Pittsburgh, PA so it should be not as expensive as NYC.

Sounds kinda high for brakes but then again i'm not sure just what you need. If you want send me an email at aiezzi225@gmail. Com. I own a repair facility and I specialize in toyotas, i'd be happy to give you a 2nd opinion.
