The one major mistake I made was not torquing the rear cam Timing Belt pully and it got loose, shredded and needed replaced. That's been repaired. Now I have a Mass Air Flow problem (code 31 if anyone is familiar). I tested the MAF with an ohm meter. The Haynes says VC and E2 should be 200-400 ohm, I have 185.5 I don't believe that would be low enough for a short, but I'm here looking for opinions. I am going to take it off and bench test it when I get home, but I need to go to work.
I have also done a continuity test on the wirire to the ECU and that's good. I also got an ECU from the junk yard. Although I know there's a possibility that the used unit may be bad, I just find it very unlikely to be the same exact circuit that is bad.
So if this sounds like something you may have encountered or just have any ideas I would apreciate it.
thanks
