Since the fuel filter is in the gas tank, in the Toyota Camry, does this mean that it is a lifetime filter? If not, how often does it need to be replaced? If it does need to be replaced, why would Toyota place it in such an inaccessible area?

It is supposed to be a maintenance free item but people replace them all the time.

1.I will want to know if after changing the fuel filter it will nice to apply injection cleaning fluid to the fuel tank?

2.At the stage of mileage of my car 33456 miles can the fuel filter be responsible for the car to reduce it take-off?

3.Does the oil enhance the take-off?
4.can oil service affect the movement of the car?

It is a good idea to add a fuel system cleaner periodically, as far as the other issues are concerned i feel that you may have a transmission problem the fuel system will affect drivability but only due to poor engine performance via misfires and fuel starvation. I would have the transmission inspected if you are having drivability concerns.

i would like to know the location of the fuel filter on a toyota camry SE with the 2.4L engine. Also, would a dirty filter cause a " #3 misfire" code to show up on tester ? engine began running rough couple days after putting 1/2 tank of gas into it which was siphoned from another vehicle we were dropping the fuel tank on to change fuel pump....spark plugs have been replaced [ iridium plugs ] but problem still exists

no fuel filter will not cause this. the tank does not have to be dropped. you can access from under the back seat.

fuel filter is on drivers front under the hood down low by the left front tire. Toyota does not reccomend replacement of the filter.

Where is the fuel filter on my 2000 camry and how to change it.

It is near the fuel tank (driver's side I believe). Shouldn't be too hard to replace.

Where is the fuel filter located and how many are there? Would a plugged fuel filter cause the engine compression to guild-up and glow off the vacuum line that goes into the sensor on the top of the engine?
