When I try to shift gear from Drive to Parking, I have to apply excessive force for my 2006 toyota camry with 41000 mile...i have been noticing this since last 3 months...can you advise what can be the possible reason for this..

Just FYI..my car is due for 12 months/15000 mile major service...do you think if I do this maintenance from toyota dealer, the problem will be resolved?

thanks in advance for this wonderful service

If the vehicle is out of warranty, I see no reason to pay the extra money, well unless you have the money to blow. Have someone check the engine mounts.

There isn't much to do for 45K miles service. There are mostly inspect, not replace parts. The list is quite long, I'll email you.
