I changed my serpentine belt today and after putting everything back together and starting the car, it started fine and idled normal(800-1000rpm), then after a few seconds of running the rpm's dropped to about 200-400rpm for a few seconds then went back to normal for about 30-45 seconds, then repeatedly did this over and over. I drove the car to the store and when braking for lights and corners it almost stalls, the lights go dim inside and out?

Check the belt tension. It is probably too loose.
