Warranty problem
2004 Toyota Camry 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I bought a 2004 Toy.Camry bought new. At 35,369 miles, dealer said I had water pump leak. Replaced pump- under warrenty. Now I am at 51,640 miles, going in for a oil change and they say I have a water pump leak and need to have it replaced at my charge. Is there any kind of warrenty on the water pump repaired at 35,000 miles. Is there a problem with this make of Toyota that is causing disfunctional water pumps.

Hi there,

you will need to contact the dealer and check with them on what warranty is on the pump, normally these pumps last for many years, but you may have just copped a dud one. but first make sure that it is the water pump that is faulty.
