I was wondering if this statement is true. If you were to disconnect your battery to a new one or
just disconnect period, will this action wipe your computer out. I need my inspection sticker and when I went to get it, they said it did not pass. I explained that I just put a new battery in and they replied that I need to drive the car at least 50 miles and come back, because when I changed the battery it wiped out the computer of my car. Is this true?

You definitely don't have to drive it 50miles in order for the vehicle to re-learn itself. Just drive it enough to complete a drive-cycle. However, the vehicle shouldn't really fail emissions just because you disconnected the battery.
