I have been told that my right wheel bearing needs to be replaced. Can you tell me the steps to replacing it.

Hi there,

For the front bearing to be replaced the bearing the stub assemble that holds the bearing must be removed that is Axle drive shaft nut removed, Tie rod off, brake caliper off disc off, lower ball joint off, and lower strut mounting bolts out, the drive flange must be pressed out, there is a large "C"clip that retains the bearing in the rear of the hum, that must be removed and then the bearing can be pressed out, you will need a large hydraulic press and means of supporting the housing to keep it square so it will press out and in, this is normally a job only mechanics have the tooling for.
