2003 Toyota Camry engine whine-reviving engine

Engine makes whing noise after ii is warm,never when cold Had new drive belt put on it.Could it be belt or water pump,doesnt overheat.Sound seems come front of engine?

Sounds like a bearing problem of some sort.

You can use a homemade stethsescope to narrow it down. A long screwdriver/pry bar etc will work. Place the tip near each pulley on it's housing and your ear to the handle. Have someone rev it while you listen to each area to find it.

Can the new belt cause whine or is it more serious? 2003 Toyota Camry-4cyl. Water pump? --Belt tensioner?

Was the noise there prior to replacement?

Belt tensioner wouldn't surprise me. Sometimes they get stiff and don't return all the way giving insufficent tension.

You need to do the test I explained above to narrow it down.
