I ahve had this car for about 2 weeks now and my mother in law who sold it to me had said that it was running funny. After driving it I found that it is idling to low not stalling but not quite right.

What would make a car that has been taken very good care of with all maintance kept up on run with the idle to low?

Hi clondil,

When air feed is too low at idling, it would drop.

Some cleaning of the throttle body and idle control valve should solve the problem. If not, then you might need to replace the Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor.

Is the engine check light on?
