I have an 02 toyota solara that recently started smoking when started. the smoke is white/bluish and only lasts 15seconds or so. Upon acc it "pings" a little. I check the oil and every 2 weeks I find it low. I also find that the heat doesn't blow as hot as it used to. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Most probably the valve seals are hardened resulting in oil getting into the cylinders and being burnt thus the bluish smoke.

As for the heater, might be the coolant hoses are clogged or the valve is not opening fully when in operation.
