2002 Toyota Camry door handle broke

My front driver door handle does not open the door anymore, but all other lock mechanism works with a key and all power door lock/unlock, window roll up/down works from inside.

THe door handle seems to have detached from the internal mechanism, it hangs on the door, pulls out loose and does not open.

What is the problem and how do I fix it?

You need to get the door handle replaced. It can't be repaired.
