I recently replaced timing belt, water pump and 4 front engine seals
for my 2001 Camery at the same time. The labor cost is $520 in total. Is
it reasonable?
The reason I ask is that someone told me that there should not be too
much additional labor charge to replacing water pump and seals while you
are replacing timing belt. It turned out that the labor for timing
belt is about $165 and the rest is $355, I was a little surprised by the
addtional labor charge. It seems too much for me but i really have no
clue about what a fair price is.
