2001 Toyota Camry Cruise Control Problem

Hello,
I can turn on the cruise control and see that the light is on but when I try to set the cruise control on is does nothing. It seems that it won't even try to set. Nothing is flashing Cruise stays on but will not set the speed. Please help!!!

First I would check the brake control switch, to make sure it is properly adjusted. If the switch is stuck in the on position the cruise control wont be able to ingage.

Check for any vacuum leaks into the main control unit.

Worst case you will need to replace the cruise control unit.
