I was looking to replace my engine with a used/remanufactured engine...I have been given prices on these motors ranging from $1,400 to $1,700. I'm thinking about just having it rebuilt. What would the average cost be to rebuild? It is a 5S-FE if that makes any difference.

Hello,

To do a complete rebuild it would cost more than the $1,400 - $1,700 for a used or reman engine.
