I did drive the car for some time and attempted to trickle charge the battery. When I reconnected, several fuses blew. I replaced the battery and fuses. Now, the car will start but the entire dash is dead and I can not shift the car into gear.

Hi Lipengr,

There must be at least one more fuse you have missed out. Check the brake fuse underhood.

Are the brake lights working?
